How To Use Your Free Funded Hours

Depending on the nursery you can use just the funded hours. Applying for 15 hours over 38 weeks. You are likely to have to use your hours within the nursery sessions, as opposed to attending when you want.
For example, if you are entitled to 15 hours, the nursery may allow you to do 5 hours over three days and not allow you to do just 3 hours over 5 days.
Any additional hours would be paid for.
However, at most private nurseries you will be spreading your funded hours throughout the whole year. Which means you would be entitled to 11 hours over 51 weeks.
This enables you to attend throughout the holidays, like summer and Easter.
At Little Blessings this is what we do. You can attend for two sessions a week, Monday to Friday, either 7:30 to 1:00pm or 1:00pm to 6:30pm.
