Use these documents to help manage your staff. These documents will be used to monitor and help support staff’s development
These documents include:
- Staff Contract (Statement of terms of employment) – A robust contract which gives both you and your employee certain rights and obligations. Download and start editing immediately.
- Supervision Template – a template used to structure essential conversations with staff to help aid their development. Supervisions should be undertaken each term. This should be used in conjunction with the Employee Self-Evaluation Form.
- Room Observations – a detailed room observation sheet, to help analyse and improve staff’s practice.
- Staff Emergency Details – A form to record additional contact details of staff for emergencies.
- Return to Work – an essential document used to record staff’s absences and ensure they are supported back to work.
- Peer on peer observations – empower your staff, and get them to observe each with these peer on peer observations.
- Employee Self-Evaluation Form – employees evaluate their confidence and experience in your setting, allowing you to offer support in areas they are not confident. Works well with the supervision template.
- Absence Monitoring Form – use this form to monitor staff’s absence and record when and why they were away from work
- Lateness Monitoring Form – use this form to monitor staff’s lateness and record when and why they are late from work
- Training Audit – use this form to state what training has been done by staff and the impact of the training.
- Staff Training List Audit – a list of all the key training that your staff should take allowing you to see when the training was last completed and if it needs to be redone.
- Training Impact Evaluation Form – a useful resource to hand out to staff after a training course. Will help you improve future training and delivery.
- Yearly Self Disclosure Form – for safeguarding, used to ask staff whether there have been any changes since the DBS check had been done.
- Meeting Template – used to record any meetings that you conduct in the nursery/ childminders.
