Free Level 3 Childcare Qualification From April 2021
If you are looking to train any of your nursery staff, then April is the best opportunity to do so. As free Level 3 childcare qualifications have been included among the 400 new Lifetime Skills Guarantee courses announced by the government from April 2021.
It is part of a pledge to ‘help our country build back better after the pandemic’.
It includes the following childcare qualifications:
- Early Years Educator courses (EYE),
- Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy – Birth to Seven (EYE),
- and the Diploma in Playwork (NVQ).
You can find a full list of the eligible qualifications here.
This means that employers/ managers can apply for funding to train their staff of all ages, up to level 3.
