Does this course address the EYFS care of babies training requirement?
The course specifically addresses the care, learning, development, safety, safeguarding, observation and support of babies and toddlers under two. It is designed to help settings provide relevant specialist training. The provider remains responsible for deciding suitability, ensuring the required number of staff are trained and maintaining appropriate records.
Is this only for new baby room practitioners?
No. It can be used for induction, refresher training, team development and supporting practitioners who are moving into an under-two room.
Does the course only cover care routines?
No. Care routines are included, but the course also covers responsive relationships, learning, development, safeguarding, observation, progress, early concerns, SEND and partnership with families.
How is the course assessed?
Learners complete a 40-question final quiz covering all four modules. The pass mark is 80%, which means at least 32 correct answers are required.
Can I complete it at my own pace?
Yes. The course is delivered online, allowing learners to work through the modules and return to their training account when needed.
Will completing the course guarantee an Ofsted outcome?
No training course can guarantee an inspection outcome. This course supports staff knowledge, professional judgement and safer practice, which should then be applied consistently within the setting.
