Starting a nursery is a full-time job, especially at the beginning.  Many of you will be leaving employment, where your salary is regular, to achieve this dream.

Therefore, one of the most important things, is to ensure that you will have enough money for yourself whilst setting up your nursery and beyond.

This wouldn’t be put into your business plan, though it is important for yourself to be aware of this so that run yourself into debt, and can actually enjoy setting up and running your nursery.

Complete the survival budget below.  This is a simple document detailing all your monthly incoming and expenses.  This is just your personal budget, so don’t include any business-related items.   You can use your last few months bank statements as reference.
